FAQ

How long do clients typically work with a coach?

Most of my clients choose to work with me on a continuing basis for about 3-6 months minimum, based on their need and level of commitment. New wellness behaviors, lifestyle, and relational strategies put into practice today may take from one to six months to show results.

Wellness and/or relationship coaching is not meant to be a “quick fix” or a short-term relationship. While coaching can be very effective for short-term change, some of my clients receive coaching an average of 6 to 12 months, esp. for those looking for deep lasting change. The learning that takes place creates lasting and sustainable results.

How does payment work?

Payment is expected per session, without the need to commit. You pay as you go. We want you to come to the sessions because you see the value, not because we hold the money you’ve paid in advance.

However…

If you want to take advantage of $50-$200 discounts, 4, 6, or 12 sessions packages are available for your particular service at the time of your booking. Please inquire.

Online – payment must be made before each session. You can use a credit card. An online invoice will be emailed to you after your booking details are confirmed.

What results can I expect working with you?

The results are often dependent upon you and your determination to not only apply the learnings and tools, but to also decide that nothing will stop you from getting the results you desire.

See the Testimonials page for examples of results.

How can I be sure my confidential information is safe with you?

I do not talk about my clients. I maintain strict confidentiality for all your personal information.

What does coaching process entail?

Coaching process is personally customized to your needs and depends entirely on you and your concerns, wants, pace, and your level of commitment to doing the work.

In general, though, we begin with a thorough intake process to go over your needs, issues, challenges, intentions, and desires that brought you in. That process also includes going over all dimensions of your being (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, relational) in depth so I can understand more about your experiences as a whole.

From all that talking and clarifying, we get to work on building action plans and trying on tools and techniques that are most effective for you.  In this, there is going to be much talking, learning, and growing.  One of the most incredible things about coaching is how much we get to uncover of ourselves when a skilled guide can ask the powerful questions that open up our unexamined assumptions and habits and gifts and wisdom within you.
