Breakfast | Morning Blend Cereal


2 c buckwheat (raw, hulled)
4 c purified water
2 c nut-milk/coconut milk/water
1 tbs Sprinkled chia/flax seed
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 c of dried fruits and nuts of your choice : (raisins, cranberries, walnuts, brazil nuts, etc.)


4 med bowls: quinoa, buckwheat, water, nut-milk
4 spice bowls: cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, dates

Serving size: 4-6
If you want to prepare in bulk for freeze-away, then just double the quantities.


1.    Bring buckwheat to a boil in 4 cups water, then simmer for 10 minutes
2.    Then add in the nut-milk and cinnamon, then stir. Add nut/fruit toppings and stir.
3.    Allow everything to cook until all the grains are soft, plump and moist, so another 5-10 minutes.
4.    Enjoy it in a bowl with fresh toppings: chia, bananas, berries, etc. over some additional nut-milk, if desired.
Morning Blend can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days and frozen for 1 month. Serve cold or warm as desired.
